Donkey’s tail (also known as burro’s tail or lamb’s tail) is a popular and simple-to-grow succulent with rows of fleshy, tear-drop-shaped leaves. Indoors, the succulent can be planted and propagated all year, but it performs best outside when planted in early spring. Flowers of red, yellow, or white can appear in late summer, though the plant rarely blooms indoors.
